Early Summer Knitting Diary

Right now we are in the middle of a heatwave, yet I continue to knit. Something about the sun coming out makes me want to switch to colorful knits instead of stopping. So, I knit. It has been a mix of relaxing and productive. I adopted the "purse sock" where I always have a sock available to knit on wherever I go, and at the same time I am working on multiple designs that are taking quite a bit of brainpower to make perfect. I imagine that the more patterns I create, the easier it will get. At the moment, I feel like Pooh at his thinking spot. Today I finished knitting my third design, the Westfold Cap. It is currently on the blocking board, though it is already almost dry due to the heat.. and putting a fan next to it. I am hoping to get that into testing in the next week or so, but we will see how long it takes to finish grading. I like to include a lot of sizes when possible, but it does make it more challenging. I am also on the second toe for my mermaid lagoon socks, but...
